Riding Lessons at Meadowbrook Stables

Located at 3877 Meadowbrook Road in Bridgeport, West Virginia, Meadowbrook Stables offers private horseback riding lessons, summer camps and equine clinics for riders aged 3 to 17 years old. Our focus is western-style riding and horsemanship in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

 Please note that we do not offer group lessons or trail rides. We also do not offer adult lessons at this time. 

🌸 Spring Session: March – May

The Spring Session continues our School Year Riding Program.

• Who Can Ride: Ages 3+

• Lesson Format: Weekly private lessons 

• Focus: Horsemanship, riding technique, groundwork

• Session Highlights:

  • Hands-on learning

  • Horse grooming and tacking before each ride

  • Tailored, private instruction for skill progression

☀️ Summer Session: June – August

The Summer Session includes both regular private lessons and special seasonal camps.

• Who Can Ride: Ages 3+

• Lesson Format: Weekly private lessons

• Camps: Designed for beginner to intermediate levels

• Session Highlights:

  • Outdoor riding experiences

  • Opportunities for new riders to join

  • Adjusted schedule for summer availability

🍂 Fall Session: September – November

The Fall Session launches the new School Year Riding Program.

• Who Can Ride: Ages 3+

• Lesson Format: Weekly private lessons through fall until Christmas

• Focus: Skill building, horse care, and safety

• Session Highlights:

  • New riders may enroll pending availability

  • Consistent progression for returning students

Meadowbrook Stables Western Riding Lesson Program

• Riding Style: Western

• Group Size: One-to-one sessions to ensure personalized instruction

• Location Features:

  • 15-acre property

  • Creek, pastures, and a 10-stall barn

📌 Additional Info

• Riders must bring their own boots and helmet if possible and wear pants.

• Registration is seasonal and space is limited.
